Electronic Artist Returns After Two-Year Hiatus with Catchy Single [Listen]

Electronic Artist Returns After Two-Year Hiatus with Catchy Single [Listen]

Two years ago, I wrote about Pusher (aka Marty Bernie) and his New Laces EP. Two years later, I am still writing about the Toronto-native producer and his music. Pusher is back with the insanely catchy “Sober,” featuring singer-songwriter Soren Bryce. Drippy-dreamy vocals is something that Bernie always seems to incorporate in his tracks; this collaboration does not disappoint in that aspect!

“‘Sober’ is a song about coming out of the dark and taking back control of your life,” says Bernie. “My bright, shiny sounds paired with Soren Bryce’s melancholy vocals expose the bittersweetness in realizing how far you’ve gone off course in life, but reaffirm your fight to get back to where you want to be.”

“Sober” is the first release of many as Bernie finishes his newest EP, titled Paperman.
