Rapper and singer Post Malone debuted an acoustic guitar cover of Nirvana’s “All Apologies” in Boston this past week. The cover was all too reminiscent of Kurt Cobain’s famous unplugged version from MTV in the mid 1990’s. This territory is not new to Malone, since his hits ‘Congratulations’ and ‘White Iverson’ kick started his career, the rapper has posted several videos of him covering other hits on YouTube.
Back in 2015, a video surfaced of Post Malone covering the Bob Dylan hit, “Don’t Think Twice, It’s All Right.” That video currently has more than 2.5 million views on YouTube. And, last year, he even covered Kanye West ‘Heartless’ for BBC 1xtra. You can see that full video below.
It’s always great to see artists experiment outside of their respective genres, and Post Malone has shown a talent for so many different things. Bravo to him for these awesome moments!
