The aliens have landed…not in Roswell or Area 51…but through the club monitors and cracked subwoofers of America, hauling in behind them a psychedelic war chant wrapped in glitch, bass, and the lingering ghost of a dancefloor tango.

Planet Zyha, the Montreal-based audiovisual duo with a name that sounds like a forgotten asteroid belt, is making their U.S. debut with “Salsa,” an instrumental riot that has just been released via Grand Alliance Music.

“Salsa” is not your auntie’s cha-cha. No, this bastard is a high-voltage blend of Latin rhythms, glitch-hop psychosis, and basslines wide enough to park a tank on. Born somewhere between a beach rave in Costa Rica and a DMT flashback in Puerto Viejo, the track pulses with the kind of kinetic energy you’d expect from people who’ve seen the devil in a dance circle and lived to score it.

Mirek Hamet and Ariane Lilith, a married duo, lovers in life and conspirators in sound, aren’t just pressing play. They’re launching full audiovisual assaults with LED-synced suits, stagecraft, and storytelling sorcery. Picture Kraftwerk with jungle dust in their hair.

They’ve already lit up stages across three countries and sold out their debut show in Montreal like it was a war bond rally. Add in airtime on Quebec’s version of America’s Got Talent, and this isn’t just an act, it’s a movement.

So buckle up, America. Planet Zyha is coming, and they brought enough glitched-out salsa fuel to burn through your consciousness and leave only neon footprints behind.
