This week saw a slew of new releases, including massive EPs from Bassnectar, Seven Lions and 1788-L.
If you missed the madness, never fear. We spent the weekend listening to everything you didn’t and handpicking the best of them. Check out our favorite new tracks from this week, and stream the entire playlist below.
Ekali – Leaving (feat Yuna)
Ekali has had one hell of a week. Along with the announcement of his new EP Crystal Eyes, he’s released an emotional new track helmed by Yuna on the vocals. It’s a different direction from his usual material, and we love it.
Walker & Royce – Self Help Remixes
Walker and Royce’s Self Help album dropped a while ago, but just in case anyone has forgotten how amazing it is, some of their friends recently reworked the tracks. The entire album is worth listening to, but Justin Jay’s remix of “Take Me To Your Leader” is on repeat for us.
Disclosure (5 New Tracks!)
After a lengthy hiatus, Disclosure surprised us with “Moonlight” on Monday. We all would have been happy with that one track, but Disclosure continued to drop one funky soul-infused house track after another, finishing the week with 5 new songs.
Nicky Romero & Stadiumx – Rise (feat Matluck)
Nicky Romero & Stadiumx last joined forces 3 years ago for the massive hit “Harmony.” They’re back again, this time for a country-inspired progressive house track. It’s a beautiful track that sounds like something the late, great Avicii would have loved.
Matoma – One In A Million
After a string of amazing singles, Matoma has finally released his debut album One In A Million and it does not disappoint. The 15-track album includes previous hits like “False Alarm” and “Slow” along with a whole slew of new material that showcases his tropical house inspired sound. Give the whole album a listen, but if you’re short on time skip ahead to “Losing It Over You.”
Keys N Krates – My Soul is Falling
In case that wasn’t enough new material, check out some of our other favorites from this week!
Sage Armstrong & Astronomar – Up Down Left Right
Fairlane – Wildfire (Ft. Nevve)
Kailee Morgue – Siren
Blackgummy – THe Remixes, Vol. 1
These are just a few of the songs in the newest update to Freshly Picked Beats. Be sure to check out the Spotify playlist in its entirety below.
