Matt and Kim Make An Exuberant Return to Touring with A Can’t Miss Show

If you’ve never seen Matt and Kim live, you’re missing out.

Balloons, confetti, dance circles and Kim’s booty dancing are staples of the their live shows. On Wednesday May 2nd, Matt and Kim visited the 9:30 Club and lit up the famous venue with their energy. They are currently touring in support of their brand new album Almost Everyday. The duo hadn’t toured in over a year since Kim suffered a stage injury in early 2017, but they made up for lost time that night.

Dance Like It’s Not Wednesday

To satisfy fans after a touring drought, the setlist featured primarily songs from past LPs. It included favorites such as ‘Daylight’, ‘Now’ and ‘It’s Alrighty’ (which is on every Buick ad). The crowd also got to hear new songs like ‘Happy If You’re Happy’ and ‘Glad I Tried’. The hour-and-fifteen-minute long set was upbeat and joyous. Matt and Kim wore perpetual smiles and charmed the audience with personal stories and fan interaction.

The duo encouraged dance circles, huge mosh pits, jumping, and singing to make the show feel like one huge party. With great support acts like Future Feats and Tokyo Police Club, this tour is a must see. If you’re looking for a night that will make you smile, laugh and dance like it’s the last night of your life, go see Matt and Kim.
