John Mayer, Tame Impala, & Mike Dean Join Travis Scott For Epic SNL Debut [Watch]

Saturday Travis Scott made his SNL DEBUT by joining the crew for several skits and a series of performances from his Billboard chart-topping album Astroworld.

From becoming a new father, to releasing his widely acclaimed number-one album ASTROWORLD, 2018 has undoubtedly been Travis Scott‘s year. And yesterday, Scott made his SNL debut flanked by ASTROWORLD collaborators John Mayer, Tame Impala‘s Kevin Parker, and producer Mike Dean.

In the episode, hosted by Crazy Rich Asians star Awkwafina, Scott performed three tracks from the album. He also showed off his acting skills in a hilarious skit with SNL‘s Leslie Jones and Kenan Thompson. In the skit, the SNL crew engage in a dance battle with Travis Scott serving as their secret weapon, dancing to none other than the Jeopardy theme song. With the would-be supergroup on stage, Scott performed a medley of “SKELETONS” and “ASTROTHUNDER” before closing out the episode with fan-favorite “SICKO MODE.”

On top of last night’s performance, Travis Scott also joined Jimmy Fallon earlier this week to discuss his background in musical theater and more. Scott closes out the first weekend of Austin City Limits tonight at 8:45 CT which you can also stream below.
