This Saturday, September 27th, arrival. and React Sound are launching their first collaboration – ๐ช๐๐๐๐๐๐๐
– an audio-visual showcase featuring a trio of the sceneโs finest visual curators and a quintet of sonic alchemists experimenting with their art in tandem.
Powered by React Sound’s custom sound system – which features 4x 21-inch front-loaded horn subwoofers, 2x 15-inch band pass kicks, and 2x 12×1 tops, the event will take place at The Wood Shop in Brooklyn, New York.
Humandala

Currently embarking on a breakout year, with performances at Secret Dreams, Infrasound, and Tipper & Friends afters, our headliner for the evening is Harrisburgโs Humandala.
While the low-end aficionado has been an established name in the underground for quite some time, it wasnโt until his 2024 LP, Happy Computer // Bad Operator, that he really became one of the emerging pioneers from glitch hop’s โnew school.โ
Continuing to carve out an erratic sector of belligerent bass music with fine-tuned technicality, expert sound design, and a chaotic flow controlled in the palms of his hands, Humandala has all intentions of burning down The Wood Shop come Saturday night.
Fika

The evolution of Coloradoโs Fika is something to marvel at, with every release revealing another layer of his enigmatic profile.
Performances at Infrasound, The Black Box, and various clubs across the US have planted his sound within the core of the glitch hop revolution currently taking place.
While he is best known for crunchy, neuro-driven clappers, he has begun to explore the deeper waters of downtempo with his own exotic trademark quickly developing.
Performing directly before Humandala, catch Fika throwing down his gauntlet this Saturday night at The Wood Shop.
Sqonk

In assessment of the sonic specimen known as Sqonk, the question isnโt what, or even who. Itโs how.
How, exactly, the Harrisburg native known as Sqonk has created his aggressive sound profile is through cold plunges, dog walks, and ruthless expeditions in the studio, bludgeoning bass lines and extracting harmonies from the fathoms of his mind.
No stranger to either arrival. or React Sound, Sir Sqonk has performed with both collectives this year in New York and Maryland. As the third opener for the debut of Compound, Sqonk will be coming equipped with a fat stack of plates to be distributed through the fine-tuned chasms of React Sound’s hand-built rig.
hokey boi

For the past four years, the sonic rummager known as hokey boi has been chiseling his own interpretation of low-end crunch and experimental bass.
Sharp as a buzzsaw with the depth of a wishing well, his trademark sound has made its way across the states from California, to Colorado, to New York and continues to spread its cyber-calibrated roots.
While hokey boi’s 2025 unreleased mix stands out as his biggest release of the year, his upcoming EP set to release in October will mark a new chapter of the project that strays deep into uncharted territory.
Catch the Sonic Rummager throwing it down as the second opener of the evening.
Reino
A legend in the realm, with experience working with the TNF team, Submersion, Sound Haven, and more, the lead visual curator for the night is none other than Reino.
Equipped with a custom-built, self-programmed touchOSC controller, the New York native has been known to rip apart pixels and configure optical delights with such delicate subtleties and detailed precision that he has placed his trademark palette in a pocket of its own.
Whether you need someone to map The Orion Amphitheater, get a drone feed going during a Submersion sunrise set, or throw down some digitized artistry, Reino is your guy.
Catch him and Channel.3 slinging Synthesia & Syntonie-woven stories this Saturday night, from 11PM-5AM at The Wood Shop in Brooklyn, New York.
Channel.3
The VJ world is undergoing a renaissance, and we are honored to have one of the most charismatic pioneers of the movement working with us for the debut of ๐ช๐๐๐๐๐๐๐
.
Inspired by the lights of Lazershark, Alex Cairo, aka Channel.3, is an analog wizard who designs glitched-out visual narratives that will steal your face and cleanse your soul.
Operating out of NYC, mainly alongside The Rust, Cairo has established himself as one of the most inventive and nuanced visual curators in the realm. His particular brand of modular madness combines equal parts nostalgia, activism, and fantasy, fueled by a repertoire of breath work and meditation.
On Saturday, September 27th, he will be deploying his custom analogue rig to light up the bowels of The Wood Shop in Brooklyn, NY, alongside our chief visual curator for the night – Reino.
ebraze/React Sound

Founder of React Sound Brian Farrell, AKA ebraze, is a chemist by day and a sound system aficionado by night.
After crossing the threshold from fan to artist to promoter, Farrell actualized his dreams by creating his own sound system in the Spring of 2023 and launching a show series in Long Island. While he is still using his parents’ garage as a workshop, this humble collective started by a more than brilliant engineer has begun making massive waves up and down the coast.
Renegades, Captree cruises, Spring pavilion parties, and now Brooklyn clubs, Farrel and his crew are carving out a deep path for themselves in the world of low-end bass music.
On September 27th, their next collaboration unfolds – a show series titled ๐ช๐๐๐๐๐๐๐
with East Coast collective arrival.. The opening act for the night will be none other than the captain of the React Sound ship, ebraze, spinning a mix of leftfield bangers and hot-handed turntablism.
Before the opening set, right at doors (11 PM), there will be a celebration of life for Zach Severini, a New Jersey native, bass music enthusiast, and friend to many.

We invite you to come early to enjoy a short slideshow accompanied by a CharlestheFirst and Supertask mix as a tribute to him.
