Mardi Gras is a time of celebration; music and the new orleans culture combining as one. People travel from all over the world to experience the fun that is Mardi Gras in New Orleans. Winter Circle Productions and BASSIK embrace this and the ever-growing love for electronic music in the city. For 2018, WCP and Bassik have something special in store for all.
Returning for it’s second year on February 9 and 10, Fleur De Lit will feature special performances from G Jones and Getter. The city has not seen these two perform in quite some time, so the excitement of combining the two with Mardi Gras is overflowing.
February 9 – Getter
OSWLA producer Getter is known for underground bass and doing things to the beat of his own drum. Getter has been pumping out new music under his alias Terror Reid, but now he’s back and ready to jump in.
Featuring a mixture of dubstep and trap, his last EP release Wat the Frick was a huge commercial success. Signing onto the OSWLA label in 2015 has allowed Getter to evolve his sound.
February 10 – G Jones
The elusive deep-bass producer is making his return to New Orleans, after a recent performance at the Voodoo Music & Arts Experience. Jones attracts a large fanbase due to his experimental bass sounds. The producer was thrusted into the scene in recent years and has since collaborated with the likes of Bassnectar, EPROM, & more.
Keep the party going with these two!
