ELECTRIC FOREST HOSTED A WEEKEND LONG RADIO STREAM, URGING ALL FOREST-GOERS TO CAMP-IN AND SET UP AT THEIR OWN HOMES. This summer would have marked the first decade of Electric Forest, but due to COVID, #ForestFam will not be reuniting until 2021.
The weekend-long event included radio sets by fan favorites including Clozee, Bassnectar, and The String Cheese Incident. Additionally, Madison House Presents and Insomniac Events worked to bring Sherwood to its fans by also including its famous forest phone calls. In a typical year, if you’re lucky, you may stumble across a landline phone in the forest. If you pick it up, you can leave a message for people or it may go directly to one of the artists on the lineup! This year, #ForestFam was able to call in during radio sets and leave voice messages.
On top of the interactive radio sets, Electric Forest urged its followers to post pictures of their at-home campsites. The response was overwhelming. Check out some of the camp-in set ups below!
Despite not being able to meet in the forest this summer, the sense of community and love still runs deep. See you in the forest in 2021!
