CLAVVS Deliver Indie-Dance Grooves in ‘Stay Forever’ [Listen]

We are always looking for new music, and CLAVVS is IT. The New York City-based indie dance duo is no new name in music with their discography going back to 2016, and they are definitely a name to add to your list. Last Friday, the duo comprised of Amber Renee and Graham Marshall released a brand new single, “Say Forever,” from their upcoming album, O – due later this summer.

“Stay Forever” is a perfect Summer playlist addition. With a soft build into groovy electronic synths, Renee’s flawless vocals carry into the tune. Their goal has always been to “make catchy songs that challenged the status quo,” a feat that they have conquered with “Stay Forever.” This is just the beginning to come, as CLAVVS newest album, O, is due on July 29.

Renee herself is the songwriter behind “Stay Forever,” explaining that she wrote it at the “height of lockdown loneliness.”

“I was imagining the moment I get to be with my friends and family again and suspending it in time. It’s about building a world where we can stay in the joy of the moment together. It has a bittersweet feeling to me, like I want to dance and cry at the same time. Maybe because I know nothing really stays forever, and that’s beautiful in its own way.”
