After months of anticipation, the BUKU Music + Art Project 2019 Initial Artist Lineup is here!
BUKU Music + Art Project returns to the docks of the Mississippi River at Mardi Gras World for its seventh year on March 22 and 23rd. The festival date is coming a little bit later than normal, as Mardi Gras is the first week of March in 2019.
Headliners for this year’s festival include Lana Del Rey, Excision, Kevin Gates, and RL Grime on Friday. And A$AP Rocky, Dog Blood, GRiZ, & Louis the Child closing out the festival on Saturday. Throughout the lineup is some punk band favorites, Dirtybird, 1788-L making his New Orleans debut, and more.
The festival also gave some clues prior to the lineup drop, which included G Jones, TOKiMONSTA, and Ella Mai.
BUKU is known for implementing several unique aspects that set it apart from any other festival on the circuit: B2Bs, local talent, VIP-only performances, stellar support, and unique art experiences. The festival made major changes last year in terms of space and stage upgrades, and look to continue that success into 2019.
