After seven years, Above & Beyond have returned with their highly anticipated album Bigger Than All of Us, released July 18 on Anjunabeats. The trio — Jono Grant, Tony McGuinness, and Paavo Siljamäki — mark this release not just as a collection of tracks, but as a reflection of their 25-year journey in electronic music and the global community they’ve built along the way.
A Title With Meaning
Speaking to Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1 during album release week, Tony McGuinness explained the significance behind the album’s title:
“I think the song itself paints a world where we’re all interconnected and everything we do affects everybody else. The other main interpretation… is the community that we’ve created. Our ‘Anjunafamily’ is so big now, the whole endeavor feels ‘Bigger Than All of Us.’”
For Above & Beyond, the album is both personal and communal — an acknowledgment of their fans’ role in shaping the journey over the decades, from the early days of their trance forums to the millions of listeners tuning into Group Therapy each week.

Bigger Than All of Us is their first entirely electronic album since 2018’s Common Ground, crafted during the pandemic while each member worked separately on solo projects. The result is an album that feels introspective, expansive, and unmistakably Above & Beyond.
The album features the ethereal vocals of longtime collaborators Zoë Johnston, Richard Bedford, and Justine Suissa, anchoring new tracks with the familiar voices that have defined the group’s sound. In addition, the release of the single “Letting Go”, a collaboration with German singer-songwriter Malou, previews a more soulful, intimate side of the album. Jono Grant describes the track as “haunting and heartfelt, with Malou’s vocal bringing real intimacy… weaving in some classic Above & Beyond piano to tie it all together.”
Malou adds:
“This song is made with love and a real piece of art where I expressed myself — not only with the words and the melodies but the production for the first time.” – Malou
Beyond the Music
The album also tackles deeper themes, from mental health and burnout to the enduring power of connection, explored in their in-depth conversation with Zane Lowe. Known for eliciting candid reflections from icons like Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, and Paul McCartney, Lowe guided Above & Beyond through discussions of legacy, emotional resonance, and the evolving landscape of electronic music.
Tracks from Bigger Than All of Us are already being tailored for the road, ensuring each performance on the Bigger Than All of Us Tour feels unique. The tour kicked off at Coachella in April (their first time back in SEVENTEEN years!), and will visit 13 North American amphitheaters, including stops at Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre in Denver and Forest Hills Stadium in New York. Each show features a massive 60′ x 48′ stage rig, cutting-edge lighting, and top-tier sound, with supporting sets from label mates like Sultan + Shepard, HANA, Qrion, and Rezident.

Above & Beyond have spent more than two decades defining trance and progressive electronic music. Founders of Anjunabeats and Anjunadeep, and hosts of the weekly Group Therapy radio show, the trio have earned two GRAMMY™ nominations and countless sold-out shows at legendary venues worldwide.
With Bigger Than All of Us, Above & Beyond reaffirm their commitment to artistry, connection, and emotional storytelling — reminding fans that even in a world of enormous scale, the music can still feel intimate, personal, and transformative.
