April showers bring May flowers, and we’ve been showered with some incredible new tracks so far this month. Trimming our list down to 10 songs was no April Fool’s Joke, but we did it just for you. Check out our favorite tracks, and stream the entire playlist below.
1.) Rusko – High
As Rusko’s aptly titled EP states, after a long absence, he Has Made 5 New Songs. They’re all deserving of this list, so do yourself a favor a bask in the glory of Rusko’s return.
2.) Elephante – The In Between (Ft. Anjulie)
Elephante has an undeniable talent for crafting vocal-driven electronic songs with massive crossover potential. This collaboration with Anjulie (who also appears on Rusko’s new EP) might be one of his best songs yet. If you get down with artists like Illenium and Gryffin, you need to be listening to Elephante.
3.) Tchami & Malaa – Deus
No Redemption is finally here, and the dynamic duo of Tchami and Malaa deliver on this EP full of future house bangers. We already knew that we loved this EP, since half of it had already been released, but new track “Deus” stands up to any of the other tracks on the record.
4.) Seeb – Drink About (Ft. Dagny)
Seeb is know for their remixes of hit songs like “I Took A Pill in Ibiza” and “Stitches” but on this original track with breakout singer Dagny, they’ve proven that they’re more than capable of crafting their own hits.
5.) Naomi Wild – Howlin
You might recognize Naomi Wild from ODESZA’s standout track “Higher Ground” but she’s an incredible singer-songwriter in her own right. “Howlin” is a beautifully written song that puts her vocal talent on full display, with subdued, percussion-driven electronic production that sounds like it could be an early Rufus Du Sol track. Don’t sleep on Naomi Wild, she has massive potential to be one of the next breakout pop-electronic stars.
6.) Cray – Peaches
7.) The Glitch Mob I could Be Anything
8.) Diplo – Wish (feat Trippie Redd)
9.) Slander & Wavedash – Move Back
10.) Jauz & DJ Snake – Gassed up
These are just a few of the songs in the newest update to Freshly Picked Beats. Be sure to check out the Spotify playlist in its entirety below.
