If you’ve been on any sort of social media today, you probably saw countless articles about “Friends” being removed from Netflix next year. What prompted this worry was a snapshot from the show directly which stated that it was available until January 1, 2019. 
Thankfully though, an “executive familiar with the show’s contract” told USA Today that the show wasn’t leaving anytime soon! There are future plans for a Warner Media‘s streaming service launching sometime next year, but that’s further down the road in 2019.
This news is definitely a good thing for Netflix, as tons of users threatened to delete their accounts if the news was true.
