Bentley Dean makes his triumphant mau5trap return with his new single, “Coagulation,” on mau5trap’s We Are Friends, Vol. 008 compilation.
Bentley Dean‘s newest release “Coagulation” sat on the shelf for a bit before finding the perfect home on Deadmau5‘s imprint mau5trap. In early 2018, Deadmau5 himself took notice of the track during one of his mau5trap Monday streaming sessions. Months later, Bentley Dean kicks off the new year with “Coagulation” on the newest mau5trap compilation, We Are Friends, Vol. 008.
“Coagulation” is forceful and aggressive, teeming with energy from a slapping bassline and thumping kick and triplet groove. A heavy synth melody serves as the only constant as the eerie atmospheres build on the four-minute track. The buzzing melody then beautifully deconstructs itself in the drop among the scattered growls and harsh percussive accents.
