AFTER A NUMBER OF CANCELLED SHOWS IN THE U.S., THIS AIN’T BRISTOL’S BILLY KENNY ANNOUNCED HIS deportation AND revoked visa.
According to a Facebook post from Kenny, between March 30 and April 2, he accidentally left a PAX pen containing under 100mg of marijuana in a pair of sweatpants in his bag.
Airline personnel discovered the pen after landing at the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), resulting in his immediate deportation and revocation of his visa.
“To all those effected (sic) by this stupid mistake, anyone that’s bought a ticket to my show, the promoters who believe in and have booked me, anyone that’s scheduled me in their festival apps, from the deepest part of my heart, i (sic) truly am sorry.”
Although Kenny and his team are unsure when he will be able to return, their main goal is to “fulfil (sic) as many announced shows as we’re able to,” the post states.
There is a bright side. Over the past two weeks of trying to figure out his return, Kenny has been curating brand new music, he stated in the Facebook post.
“I can hand on my heart say that I’ve consistently written what i (sic) believe to be the best records i’ve (sic) ever written and produced and i (sic) really can’t wait to share them with you.”
Billy Kenny has left behind a number of U.S. shows. Fans have their fingers crossed that the “Seahorses” artist can resolve the issue quickly.
